Scott Buchholz has announced the Peak Crossing Public Hall will receive $4,800 from a Federal Government grant to purchase a new mower.
Federal Member for Wright Scott Buchholz said the funding is being provided through the Government’s Volunteer Grants Program.
“Our volunteer grants program is providing local community groups with assistance to upgrade facilities, improve accessibility and buy new assets.
“It is great to see this funding for the Peak Crossing Hall for a new mower. It will ease the maintenance burden on volunteers,” Mr Buchholz said.
“The old mower was ten years old, constantly stopping and causing all sorts of grief for volunteers. The new mower will reduce stress on volunteers and save time.
“The Hall is used by a variety of groups and for private functions all year round, so this additional support makes it a little easier to get the grounds ready for the next event,” Scott Buchholz said.
