The Liberal National Government has committed $150,000 to fund local community infrastructure projects across the electorate of Wright.
Scott Buchholz said the Government has provided funding under Round 5 of the Stronger Communities Programme and he called for expressions of interest for local projects.
“These investments are vital to delivering local community infrastructure for the people of Wright. Under the previous round, twenty projects received funding.
“Funding supported the installation of accessibility upgrades, toilet upgrades, new barbeque facilities and upgrades to outdoor play equipment, the sort of projects that bring people in our community together and strengthens and build the community.
“In total, round four of the Stronger Communities grants delivered $150,000 in funding for projects in Wright. However it is the social activity that flows from creating and improving these assets that is the major win for locals,” Scott Buchholz said.
