My message to the people of Wright is that I am even more committed to the abolition of the carbon tax than I was on the day that Labor brought it in. I have seen for myself the impact on families and small businesses in Wright that are experiencing the impact of massive winter electricity and gas bills, Mr Buchholz said.
With every passing day, the Coalition grows more and more determined to end this tax which is doing great damage to household budgets, local businesses and the wider economy.
While this years winter has passed, the worst is not over. Only last week, the Reserve Bank confirmed the introduction of the carbon tax is affecting prices and said there will be more price impacts on households over the coming six months.

Labor thinks it has got away with the carbon tax. If they think they got away with it once, they will try it again if Labor gets re-elected, they will do the same thing again by breaking more promises and introducing more new taxes.
The Coalition has a plan to abolish the carbon tax and it starts on day one of a Coalition Government. On the first day of Parliament after the election, a Coalition Government would introduce legislation to abolish the carbon tax.
