Federal LNP Member for Wright, Scott Buchholz has today announced $10,000 under the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Program to support the Laidley Community Centre.
Scott Buchholz said the grant will go a long way in supporting the great work the Laidley Community Centre does in the local community by funding much needed upgrades to equipment and resources at their Mary Street Centre.
“The Laidley Community Centre is on the frontline of supporting those in our community facing issues, crisis or are simply in need a bit of help,” Mr Buchholz said.
“This funding delivered under the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Program will help support the ongoing work of the dedicated team at the Laidley Community Centre and the essential services they provide,
“I thank the centre volunteers and staff ably led by Alana Wahl for their hard work supporting the Laidley community and congratulate them on their funding win.
Laidley Community Centre Manager, Alana Wahl was delighted and thanked Scott Buchholz for the funding and the support he has provided to the centre.
“I thank Scott Buchholz and the Federal Government for the funding under the Stronger Communities Program and their support of the Laidley Community Centre,” Ms Wahl said.
“Our vision is about leading community connections and partnership development across Laidley and the surrounding regions, and this funding will allow us to keep delivering this vital work.
