Scott Buchholz, Federal Member for Wright has welcomed the Roads to Recovery program by visiting one of the road safety projects in the Lockyer Valley receiving the Coalition’s Roads to Recovery funding.
Scott Buchholz MP said “Ron’s Road, Regency Downs is one of many projects across the Lockyer Valley funded under the Road to Recovery program which will lead to safer outcomes for not only those who live on Ron’s Road, but also residents who use Gehrke Road.”
“The $167,000 project will install a right-hand turning lane into Ron’s Road and additional signage along Gehrke Road, making this turn safer for local residents,”
“This sort of work is only made possible through the Coalition’s Roads to Recovery Program which supports local councils, like the Lockyer Valley Regional Council to maintain the nation's local road infrastructure.” Mr Buchholz said.
The Coalition Government supports local councils throughout Wright to provide vital infrastructure and services through Financial Assistance Grants, Bridges Renewal, Black Spot and Roads to Recovery Programs.
