The Australian Electoral Commission has today formally declared Scott Buchholz as the Federal Member for Wright in the 44th Parliament.
Mr Buchholz said that he was honoured to have been elected by the people of the Wright electorate for a second term, and that he looked forward to representing them in the new Government.
I am humbled by the overwhelming support that was given to me during the campaign. I consider it a great honour to represent our region in our Nations Parliament, Mr Buchholz said.

The most important thing to do now is get on with the job of representing the people of Wright and ensuring our communities are getting a fair go said Mr. Buchholz.
