Mr Buchholz said the tour of the company operations provided him with first hand evidence of the losses local companies like AJ Bush & Sons will face as costs increase due to the Carbon Tax.
The government has rolled out this Carbon Tax under false pretences and the Australian people deserve to know that this is not acceptable, Mr Buchholz said.
The visit to AJ Bush and Sons has given me first hand insight of the complete disregard this Government has shown towards Australian business, and inevitably, the mums and dads who need to put food on the
table, he said

Mr Buchholz toured the chain meat processing company with Nationals Senator Barnaby Joyce to see first
hand how the Carbon Tax will impact the companys day to day operations.
Early estimates from AJ Bush and Sons indicate that increased operation costs will be somewhere in the vicinity of approximately $2 million per annum, Mr Buchholz said.
Australian businesses like AJ Bush and Sons are currently surviving on wafer?thin margins and already facing a series of cost disadvantages against their export and import competitors, he said.
This Carbon Tax is more than just another ill?considered tax it will dramatically exacerbate the pressures of business and that is the last thing they need.
Mr Buchholz added that the carbon tax will play havoc with household budgets as food, electricity, gas and the price of essentials all go up.
The Coalition is pledged to repeal the carbon tax. Labor and their partners, the Greens, have pledged to increase the carbon tax.
