LNP Member for Wright, Scott Buchholz has secured $59,400 for the Beaudesert Golf Club under Round 3 of the Federal Government’s highly successful Building Better Regions Fund.
Mr Buchholz said the Morrison Government was investing in local projects, to help grow the economy and build a strong future for the region.
“Funding for the carpark redevelopment will enhance access and useability of the club facilities, it is a bit rough there at the moment and the upgrades will help members and visitors to get around more easily.
“This is a great outcome for the Club and the wider Beaudesert community. Small projects such as this make a massive difference to local clubs and organisations,” Mr Buchholz said.
The Building Better Regions Fund is supporting the growth in regional Australia, through investing in important local infrastructure and community-building and planning initiatives.
“I know the Beaudesert Golf Club is a social hub for many in the area and that makes our community a happier, healthier and more attractive place to live and work.
“I had a meeting there just last week, the facilities are perfect for community use and by upgrading the car parking infrastructure, we can encourage greater use of the Club,” Mr Buchholz said.
The $641.6 million Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) supports the Australian Government’s commitment to create jobs, drive economic growth and build stronger regional communities into the future.
